Damion Wright joined the Santa Clara County Social Services Agency in early 2021 as one of the Assistant Directors within the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS). Since assuming this role, Damion has spearheaded critical initiatives, notably overseeing the development of system improvements and the children's continuum of care framework.

Damion’s tenure as Assistant Director and Interim Director of DFCS Administration, Continuum of Care, and Intake Operations has showcased his multifaceted expertise. Previously, he held key leadership positions including Senior Director of the Los Angeles Field Office at Casey Family Programs where he strategically devised and executed child welfare strategies across expansive regions. Additionally, Damion's commendable career with the San Bernardino County Department of Children and Family Services reflects his commitment to enhancing the safety and well-being of children.

Damion has a Bachelor's in Psychology from Claremont McKenna College, a Master's in Counseling with a specialized focus on management and leadership from the University of La Verne, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology from Capella University. Damion Wright continues to exemplify unwavering dedication to the betterment of child welfare services and the communities they serve.
