Reporting Abuse
The Child Abuse & Neglect Center receives and responds to reports of abuse or neglect connected to children and youth.
In case of a life-threatening emergency call 911.
When the situation is not a problem needing police action, reports should be made to the toll-free Child Abuse and Neglect Center (CANC) reporting line:
It is preferred that you call to report child abuse or neglect (833) SCC-KIDS (722-5437)
The CANC screens calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
